Jammies By Hélène Lauré are made from a soft and breezy light gauge cotton Jersey geared to the delicate and discerning Baby.
The overall design is purposely reminiscent of the all American Long John’s with its Henley tab closing and ribbed cuffs - but the flirty ruffle added to the little girl’s style is quite unique.
Both the ankle cuffs construction and the sized down print were developed to respond to many mothers’ feedback. We replaced the footsies with an ankle cuff construction more comfortable to Baby and easier to handle……essentially for first moms and dads.
Sizing goes from 0 to 9 months and also includes an "Up to 7LBs" size so our moms can dress their smallest bundle of joy with a well fitted and attractive long Johns.

All sizes are approximate as babies come in very different shape and weight.
For a new born weighing under 7Lbs, we recommend Up to 7Lbs.
For an average weight newborn of 7 to 8 Lbs, we recommend 0 to 3 Months – 7 to 11 Lbs.
For a new born weighing over 8 Lbs we recommend 3 to 6 Months – 11 to 14 Lbs.
And for babies weighing 14 to 18 Lbs we recommend our 6 to 9 Months size.

Care Instructions
This product is made of 100% light gauge pure cotton jersey that will feel light, cool and comfortable toyour baby. Shrinkage has been tested by an independent reputed international lab and is consistent with shrinkage expected from cotton when washed accordingly to care instructions.
Hand wash or machine wash with gentle cycle
in cold or luke warm water.
Wash and dry with like colors.
Only use non chlorine bleach when needed.
Tumble dry low.
Warm iron.
Do not dry clean.
Shipping Policies
You will receive an email confirmation of shipping and tracking number when your order is shipped.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on shipping locations. When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing.
Orders are processed once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained.
We ship via USPS Priority Mail. According to USPS, Priority mail delivers packages within 2 to 3 days any place in the U.S.A

- Orders are processed Monday through Friday.
- Saturday delivery service is not available.
- Applicable sales tax will be charged to residents of New York.
- We ship only to the Continental US, Alaska and Hawaii; no shipping to US Territories.

Exchanging and Return Policy
We understand that sometimes your purchase may not be what you expected and wish for an exchange or refund. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unwashed and unworn merchandise within 30days of your package receipt date, for an exchange or refund. Any credits or charges will be issued to the credit card used for the purchase.
Your return must also include the bows, the Jar with its size-gender sticker, jar label as well as the gift box and gift certificate - if the latter applies.
Any merchandise returned to us that does not match what was shipped to you will not be refunded and will be donated or discarded.

Initial shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. However, if an item is defective or we made a mistake with your order, you will not be charged return shipping. Our Story
Jammies' idea sprung from a love for double entente. As a French immigrant learning English, I particularly appreciated words with double entente as I could remember them easier.
Jammies was one of these words and it did not take long before I visualized a lofty pair of Baby's Jammies snuggled in an inviting Jammies's jar.
But Jammies' story really started during a fund raiser auction geared to rescue abused horses. That evening I met a very inspiring woman that became inadvertently a catalyst to this project – Susan Stone.
In addition of our common love of animals, I learnt of Susan‘s leadership in the fight against Postpartum Depression (PPD).
This disabling illness affects the lives of up to 800,000 women in the United States (or 20%) each year.
The consequences of untreated maternal depression range from chronic, disabling mood disorders to death. PPD can also affect a baby’s emotional and cognitive development.
While there have been advances in awareness, too few women are finding their way to treatment.
Organizations which support implementation of accessible and evidenced based treatment are therefore critical.
Shortly thereafter, Jammies Long Johns in a Jar was born. A whimsical idea for a baby gift item evolved into a cause-related business that will support mothers and babies afflicted by Postpartum Depression.
For each Jammies's Jar sold, the company will donate 10% of profit to Postpartum Progress, an outstanding non-profit organization created by another very inspiring woman -Katherine Stone (no relation to Susan).

Two Mice, A Bear and ...
Before Jammies’s label was entirely thought out, I already knew that it would include mice.
This unlikely association with infant wear can be traced to my very first movie experience - Walt Disney’s Cinderella. To this day, I remember this magical experience for the magnificence of its detailed illustrations as well as its sensitivity towards the animal kingdom.
All my little friends went home day dreaming about fancy dresses, early Manolo-like stilettos and the Destiny Prince. I was mesmerized by the cheeky mice, the smart horses and even the pumpkin - which I no longer considered as an humble veggie from that point on.
However, the mice made the biggest impression. They were all delightfully witty and enterprising but there was a plump one in particular for whom I developed a fondness.
So the casting of mice – including one of them being plump – was inevitable.
By contrast, including Mr. Bear was a given. Loyal friends, perfect playmates and sleeping buddies, Teddy bears are an inherent part of most childhood. I remember handling my favorite Teddy Bear from my first steps on.
A Bunny
He was almost as tall as I was and holding him while walking was in itself an exercise in balance. But I insisted in carrying him everywhere I went. I can still remember my father retrieving him at times to help me negotiate a turn in direction.
I never named my Bear but I dearly cared for him over many years. Alas, we cannot always protect the ones we love and more than once, my mother provided emergency care replacing a glass eye or sewing back a dangling arm.
A hot summer, I thought that shaving him would give him a needed relief from the heat; this time the electrical razor was fixed but not my bear. Still, my devotion to my now unorthodox looking friend never faltered.
The choice of the forth character was by far the most difficult:
The mice were not comfortable at the idea of a cat joining the group.
According to Mr. Bear, there were a few bad encounters with a dog that incomprehensibly mistook him for a pet toy - therefore dogs were excluded.
A lovely elephant refused to join the group on account of the mice and without the elephant no others tempting exotic animals could be recruited.

So it was established that the creatures in Jammies’s world would consist of Two Mice, A Bear and A Bunny. This in turn became the name of the Company.
The critters were named after favorite horses that I got to know and love throughout my riding journey.
Cinnamon, the plump mouse, is named after a one in a million Morgan who never turned down a meal.
Ginger is the name of a feisty little Morgan-Pony mix who took delight in showing me who was the boss.
Lily shares her name with an endearing Thoroughbred that knows how to give the most inviting grins.
In keeping with family tradition, Mr. Bear was originally not provided with a first name. This decision seemed even more appropriate considering his important position as the authorized company secretary.
Yet, he is now often referred to as Coco Bear and coincidentally…Coco is my present horse’s nickname - another Morgan with very strong point of views.

Katherine Stone
Founded Postpartum Progress, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and improving the support and services available to mothers with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Her web site postpartumprogress.com, is the most widely-read blog in the U.S. on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders including postpartum depression.
It provides comprehensive and accessible information on perinatal mental illness for pregnant women and new mothers and has helped to date more than 700,000 women and healthcare providers.
In addition to Postpartum Progress, Katherine Stone writes a weekly column at AOL's ParentDish, called "If Mama Ain't Happy", about family emotional health.
She has served as a contributing blogger for PBS' This Emotional Life site and is guest editor on the topic of postpartum depression at BlogHer, the world's top community for and guide to blogs by women.Katherine was named a WebMD Health Hero in 2008, and won the 2010 Bloganthropy Award, given for making a difference via social media.

She managed the design process of multi-million dollar Coca-Cola consumer attractions and developed experiential projects and marketing innovation. She was awarded corporate awards and continuous promotions for her creativity and results.
Preceding coca Cola, Katherine had a successful career in Public relation. Some of her major projects included media relations for diet Coke’s sponsorship of the 39th Grammy Awards. She also managed a 15-member account team handling the AT&T account. In that capacity, she received AT&T 100 Award as one of 100 employees and consultants who made the greatest impact on its successful 1996 sponsorship of the Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Mr. Bear and Lily
Having worked for a long time as loyal friend and confident to many babies, Mr. Bear came to New York looking for new opportunities.
After investing in a smashing bow tie at Macy’s, he interviewed for the position of Company Secretary. He was unanimously received based on his professional looking bow tie and impeccable signature ability.
Mice and Bunny look up to Mr. Bear to keep things organized and resolve complicated issues. They affectionately call him Coco Bear.
It takes a lot of gumption to leave home and start anew. But gumption is in Mr. Bear genes.
Native from the Mid-West, Mr. Bear can trace his lineage to the formidable grizzly bear.
According to Lewis and Clark, grizzly bears could almost reach 12 feet and were such determined adversaries that as a sign of respect, Indians would
adorn themselves with war paints prior to hunt them.
Nobody has seen or anticipates seeing the grizzly side of Mr. Bear - but this piece of genealogy needed to be told.
Lily is a true southerner whose drawl endears her to everyone. She comes from a very large dysfunctional family – that is a common occurrence with rabbit families. So Lily looked north for a less hectic life and found the smaller tight-knit family that she was looking for at Jammies.
Demure and gentle, Lily acts as a big sister to Ginger giving her advice on clothing and hair styles. She is also very fond of Cinnamon and likes to teach him all kind of tricks and antics that only rabbits know.
But she has developed the stronger attachment for Mr. Bear who supports her desire to pursue a career as a country-western singer in spite of her extreme shyness.
With his encouragements, she is composing a series of country-western Lullabies for Jammies.
Julia Rish
Julia Rish graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a BFA in 2001. Currently, she is an editorial representative for an award-winning roster of internationally renowned photographers at Redux Pictures in New York City.
Prior to this Julia worked as East Coast Lead Assignment Editor for Getty Images, where she oversaw the production schedule for east coast entertainment news for Getty, in addition to managing assignment editors for Wire Image and FilmMagic brands.
Building on her previous experience, Julia produced photographic coverage for special events such as New York Fashion Week, Tribeca Film Festival, The Tony Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.
In 2009 she was the recipient of Getty Images’ Employee Recognition of the Year Award attesting to her passion for and dedication to her work.
Following college and prior to Getty Images, Julia was the Director of Bookings at Patrick McMullan Company, a New York City-based event photography agency, where she scheduled a roster of 15 photographers including personally handling Patrick McMullan’s demanding schedule
and coordinating with imaging and sales departments to build label recognition and client loyalty.
In over ten years in her industry, Julia Rish has used her passion and dedication to build a loyal following of colleagues and friends in the following industries: commercial and editorial photography, entertainment, pubic relations, and philanthropy.
Cinnamon and Ginger
are identical twins - and this is the only thing they have in common.
Their parents own a lovely space on the fourth floor of the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York and that is where they were born and raised.
In winter they look at the endless stream of visitors coming to admire the latest exposition and in summer they play in the adjacent Central Park.
But their favorite times are late evenings, racing each other through the impressive museum halls or sliding on the back of giant dinosaurs.
According to our records, their ancestors would have come on the Mayflower. They particularly enjoy curling up next to their mom at night and listening to the family old tales: the difficult sea voyage, the ferocious ship’s cat and at the end, the wonder of a new world with corn and seeds aplenty.
Ginger is a true New Yorker; she loves the Arts and Fashion. Pink is her favorite color and bows
are one of her wardrobe staples, she even sleep with them. She would like to either be a makeup artist or an astronaut.
Her brother Cinnamon is a spirited little mouse that likes to laugh and
play tricks on his friends and the museum genitors.
As demonstrated by his waist line, snacking is his favorite activity. He would like to be one day a famous Chef like Ratatouille who is a great inspiration to him. In the mean time, he practices eating or to use his better words “the Art of Degustation”.
Gardening is another of his favorite activity; in fact he shows quite a talent in this area too as demonstrated by the beautiful strawberry plants featured on the Jammies label.
And although, they are both often reminded that such talks are foolishness and such things are out of reach for mice, they believe that everything is possible in America!
Helene Laure Freixe
Studied at the Sorbonne University while working for Sonia Rykiel in France before moving to New York in the early 80’s. After graduating from FIT with a B.A.S in Fashion Design, she worked for Murjani and started her own business in 1985 under the label Laure-Freixe.
Helene was described as one of the new designers who help transform the stagnant Bridge Department by offering Designer looks, great quality and affordable prices. Her collections were sold to hundreds of top specialty boutiques throughout the U.S. and to stores such as Bendel, Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord and Taylor, Saks, Macys and Galeries Lafayette U.S.A. In Women’s Wear Daily, Sydney Bachman, VP and Fashion Director at Bergdorf Goodman described her work as “very much in keeping with that of the major designers.” And according to Henri Bendel’s President, “Laure-Freixe’s best sellers were an extraordinary success”. Helene’s designs were widely featured in newspapers and fashion magazines through the country as well as the invaluable retail trade review The Tobe Report. She appeared on the ground breaking fashion TV show of the time -- Elsa Klensch.
In the late 80’s, Renown - a major Japanese Company that licenses top Europeans and U.S. designers - invested in Helene’s business. The label was changed to Helene Laure. The collection was featured in the leading trade and fashion magazines.
The Regis and Kathy Lee show picked up one of her outfits as one of the top 5 fashion ensembles to own for the season. In 1993, the crash of the Japanese economy forced Renown to curtail their American operations.
In 1994, Helene joined the international retail brand EPISODE as one of the Head Designers. Her designs were often best sellers and equally performed in Japan, US and Europe - where together with Max Mara’s designs, they ranked in the top three performers at Galeries Lafayette, France. Barbara Walters was often featured in Helene’s designs on her 20/20 show. The Episode Retail President Mark Mc Keon, wrote that: “Helene and her team strongly contributed to the growth and success Episode experienced at that time period.”
When Episode U.S.A was absorbed through a merger in 1998, Helene worked in Japan on a consulting contract. In 2000 she joined the Limited where she worked with a new group at transforming the Lane Bryant line into a younger fashionable line. Her direct responsibility was Woven Tops that represented 40% of the $895 Million division. There, she co-developed a new fit for the woven top key item that resulted in the largest sales ever for this item. Her team won the Lane Bryant Sophie Award for Best at Driving Business.

After September 11, Helene resigned to return living full time in New York. From 2001 to 2005, she worked for FINITY/Chinating, Ltd. developing multi concepts for Private Label and license acquisitions.
Since the closing of the Company in 2005, Helene has been freelancing via 24 SEVEN and Style Careers for companies such as ChinaTing-China, Liz Claiborne, Hanky Panky, Apostrophe for Sears, Vera Wang for Jones Apparel Group, Adrienne Vittadini and the CBS Television Network.

Jammies By Hélène Lauré are made from a soft and breezy light gauge cotton Jersey geared to the delicate and discerning Baby.
The overall design is purposely reminiscent of the all American Long John’s with its Henley tab closing and ribbed cuffs - but the flirty ruffle added to the little girl’s style is quite unique.
Both the ankle cuffs construction and the sized down print were developed to respond to many mothers’ feedback. We replaced the footsies with an ankle cuff construction more comfortable to Baby and easier to handle……essentially for first moms and dads.
Sizing goes from 0 to 9 months and also includes an "Up to 7LBs" size so our moms can dress their smallest bundle of joy with a well fitted and attractive long Johns.

All sizes are approximate as babies come in very different shape and weight.
For a new born weighing under 7Lbs, we recommend Up to 7Lbs.
For an average weight newborn of 7 to 8 Lbs, we recommend 0 to 3 Months – 7 to 11 Lbs.
For a new born weighing over 8 Lbs we recommend 3 to 6 Months – 11 to 14 Lbs.
And for babies weighing 14 to 18 Lbs we recommend our 6 to 9 Months size.

Care Instructions
This product is made of 100% light gauge pure cotton jersey that will feel light, cool and comfortable toyour baby. Shrinkage has been tested by an independent reputed international lab and is consistent with shrinkage expected from cotton when washed accordingly to care instructions.
Hand wash or machine wash with gentle cycle
in cold or luke warm water.
Wash and dry with like colors.
Only use non chlorine bleach when needed.
Tumble dry low.
Warm iron.
Do not dry clean.

You will receive an email confirmation of shipping and tracking number when your order is shipped.
Actual delivery times may vary depending on shipping locations. When estimating package delivery time, please allow time for credit approval, address verification and order processing.
Orders are processed once credit card authorization and verification have been obtained.
We ship via USPS Priority Mail. According to USPS, Priority mail delivers packages within 2 to 3 days any place in the U.S.A

- Orders are processed Monday through Friday.
- Saturday delivery service is not available.

Exchanging and Return Policy
We understand that sometimes your purchase may not be what you expected and wish for an exchange or refund. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return unwashed and unworn merchandise within 30days of your package receipt date, for an exchange or refund. Any credits or charges will be issued to the credit card used for the purchase.
Your return must also include the bows, the Jar with its size-gender sticker, jar label as well as the gift box and gift certificate - if the latter applies.
Any merchandise returned to us that does not match what was shipped to you will not be refunded and will be donated or discarded.

Initial shipping and handling fees are non-refundable. However, if an item is defective or we made a mistake with your order, you will not be charged return shipping. The replacement order will be sent via Standard Ground Delivery. Please note that orders take 3 to 5 days to be processed for return or exchange. We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item.

If an item being exchanged after 30 days is now on sale, and we agree to take it back, under our policy of Non-refundable, Non-exchangeable items, your account will be credited the sale price.

Our Story
Jammies' idea sprung from a love for double entente. As a French immigrant learning English, I particularly appreciated words with double entente as I could remember them easier.
Jammies was one of these words and it did not take long before I visualized a lofty pair of Baby's Jammies snuggled in an inviting Jammies's jar.
But Jammies' story really started during a fund raiser auction geared to rescue abused horses. That evening I met a very inspiring woman that became inadvertently a catalyst to this project – Susan Stone.
In addition of our common love of animals, I learnt of Susan‘s leadership in the fight against Postpartum Depression (PPD).
This disabling illness affects the lives of up to 800,000 women in the United States (or 20%) each year.
The consequences of untreated maternal depression range from chronic, disabling mood disorders to death. PPD can also affect a baby’s emotional and cognitive development.
While there have been advances in awareness, too few women are finding their way to treatment.
Organizations which support implementation of accessible and evidenced based treatment are therefore critical.
Shortly thereafter, Jammies Long Johns in a Jar was born. A whimsical idea for a baby gift item evolved into a cause-related business that will support mothers and babies afflicted by Postpartum Depression.
For each Jammies's Jar sold, the company will donate 10% of profit to Postpartum Progress, an outstanding non-profit organization created by another very inspiring woman -Katherine Stone (no relation to Susan).

Two Mice, A Bear and ...
Before Jammies’s label was entirely thought out, I already knew that it would include mice.
This unlikely association with infant wear can be traced to my very first movie experience - Walt Disney’s Cinderella. To this day, I remember this magical experience for the magnificence of its detailed illustrations as well as its sensitivity towards the animal kingdom.
All my little friends went home day dreaming about fancy dresses, early Manolo-like stilettos and the Destiny Prince. I was mesmerized by the cheeky mice, the smart horses and even the pumpkin - which I no longer considered as an humble veggie from that point on.
However, the mice made the biggest impression. They were all delightfully witty and enterprising but there was a plump one in particular for whom I developed a fondness.
So the casting of mice – including one of them being plump – was inevitable.
By contrast, including Mr. Bear was a given. Loyal friends, perfect playmates and sleeping buddies, Teddy bears are an inherent part of most childhood. I remember handling my favorite Teddy Bear from my first steps on.
A Bunny
He was almost as tall as I was and holding him while walking was in itself an exercise in balance. But I insisted in carrying him everywhere I went. I can still remember my father retrieving him at times to help me negotiate a turn in direction.
I never named my Bear but I dearly cared for him over many years. Alas, we cannot always protect the ones we love and more than once, my mother provided emergency care replacing a glass eye or sewing back a dangling arm.
A hot summer, I thought that shaving him would give him a needed relief from the heat; this time the electrical razor was fixed but not my bear. Still, my devotion to my now unorthodox looking friend never faltered.
The choice of the forth character was by far the most difficult:
The mice were not comfortable at the idea of a cat joining the group.
According to Mr. Bear, there were a few bad encounters with a dog that incomprehensibly mistook him for a pet toy - therefore dogs were excluded.
A lovely elephant refused to join the group on account of the mice and without the elephant no others tempting exotic animals could be recruited.

So it was established that the creatures in Jammies’s world would consist of Two Mice, A Bear and A Bunny. This in turn became the name of the Company.
The critters were named after favorite horses that I got to know and love throughout my riding journey.
Cinnamon, the plump mouse, is named after a one in a million Morgan who never turned down a meal.
Ginger is the name of a feisty little Morgan-Pony mix who took delight in showing me who was the boss.
Lily shares her name with an endearing Thoroughbred that knows how to give the most inviting grins.
In keeping with family tradition, Mr. Bear was originally not provided with a first name. This decision seemed even more appropriate considering his important position as the authorized company secretary.
Yet, he is now often referred to as Coco Bear and coincidentally…Coco is my present horse’s nickname - another Morgan with very strong point of views.

Katherine Stone
Founded Postpartum Progress, a non-profit organization dedicated to increasing awareness and improving the support and services available to mothers with perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.
Her web site postpartumprogress.com, is the most widely-read blog in the U.S. on perinatal mood and anxiety disorders including postpartum depression.
It provides comprehensive and accessible information on perinatal mental illness for pregnant women and new mothers and has helped to date more than 700,000 women and healthcare providers.
In addition to Postpartum Progress, Katherine Stone writes a weekly column at AOL's ParentDish, called "If Mama Ain't Happy", about family emotional health.
She has served as a contributing blogger for PBS' This Emotional Life site and is guest editor on the topic of postpartum depression at BlogHer, the world's top community for and guide to blogs by women.Katherine was named a WebMD Health Hero in 2008, and won the 2010 Bloganthropy Award, given for making a difference via social media.

She managed the design process of multi-million dollar Coca-Cola consumer attractions and developed experiential projects and marketing innovation. She was awarded corporate awards and continuous promotions for her creativity and results.
Preceding coca Cola, Katherine had a successful career in Public relation. Some of her major projects included media relations for diet Coke’s sponsorship of the 39th Grammy Awards. She also managed a 15-member account team handling the AT&T account. In that capacity, she received AT&T 100 Award as one of 100 employees and consultants who made the greatest impact on its successful 1996 sponsorship of the Olympic Games in Atlanta.
Mr. Bear and Lily
Having worked for a long time as loyal friend and confident to many babies, Mr. Bear came to New York looking for new opportunities.
After investing in a smashing bow tie at Macy’s, he interviewed for the position of Company Secretary. He was unanimously received based on his professional looking bow tie and impeccable signature ability.
Mice and Bunny look up to Mr. Bear to keep things organized and resolve complicated issues. They affectionately call him Coco Bear.
It takes a lot of gumption to leave home and start anew. But gumption is in Mr. Bear genes.
Native from the Mid-West, Mr. Bear can trace his lineage to the formidable grizzly bear.
According to Lewis and Clark, grizzly bears could almost reach 12 feet and were such determined adversaries that as a sign of respect, Indians would
adorn themselves with war paints prior to hunt them.
Nobody has seen or anticipates seeing the grizzly side of Mr. Bear - but this piece of genealogy needed to be told.
Lily is a true southerner whose drawl endears her to everyone. She comes from a very large dysfunctional family – that is a common occurrence with rabbit families. So Lily looked north for a less hectic life and found the smaller tight-knit family that she was looking for at Jammies.
Demure and gentle, Lily acts as a big sister to Ginger giving her advice on clothing and hair styles. She is also very fond of Cinnamon and likes to teach him all kind of tricks and antics that only rabbits know.
But she has developed the stronger attachment for Mr. Bear who supports her desire to pursue a career as a country-western singer in spite of her extreme shyness.
With his encouragements, she is composing a series of country-western Lullabies for Jammies.
Julia Rish
Julia Rish graduated from Emerson College in Boston with a BFA in 2001. Currently, she is an editorial representative for an award-winning roster of internationally renowned photographers at Redux Pictures in New York City.
Prior to this Julia worked as East Coast Lead Assignment Editor for Getty Images, where she oversaw the production schedule for east coast entertainment news for Getty, in addition to managing assignment editors for Wire Image and FilmMagic brands.
Building on her previous experience, Julia produced photographic coverage for special events such as New York Fashion Week, Tribeca Film Festival, The Tony Awards, and the MTV Video Music Awards.
In 2009 she was the recipient of Getty Images’ Employee Recognition of the Year Award attesting to her passion for and dedication to her work.
Following college and prior to Getty Images, Julia was the Director of Bookings at Patrick McMullan Company, a New York City-based event photography agency, where she scheduled a roster of 15 photographers including personally handling Patrick McMullan’s demanding schedule
and coordinating with imaging and sales departments to build label recognition and client loyalty.
In over ten years in her industry, Julia Rish has used her passion and dedication to build a loyal following of colleagues and friends in the following industries: commercial and editorial photography, entertainment, pubic relations, and philanthropy.
Cinnamon and Ginger
are identical twins - and this is the only thing they have in common.
Their parents own a lovely space on the fourth floor of the Museum of Natural History in Manhattan, New York and that is where they were born and raised.
In winter they look at the endless stream of visitors coming to admire the latest exposition and in summer they play in the adjacent Central Park.
But their favorite times are late evenings, racing each other through the impressive museum halls or sliding on the back of giant dinosaurs.
According to our records, their ancestors would have come on the Mayflower. They particularly enjoy curling up next to their mom at night and listening to the family old tales: the difficult sea voyage, the ferocious ship’s cat and at the end, the wonder of a new world with corn and seeds aplenty.
Ginger is a true New Yorker; she loves the Arts and Fashion. Pink is her favorite color and bows
are one of her wardrobe staples, she even sleep with them. She would like to either be a makeup artist or an astronaut.
Her brother Cinnamon is a spirited little mouse that likes to laugh and play tricks on his friends and the museum genitors.
As demonstrated by his waist line, snacking is his favorite activity. He would like to be one day a famous Chef like Ratatouille who is a great inspiration to him. In the mean time, he practices eating or to use his better words “the Art of Degustation”.
Gardening is another of his favorite activity; in fact he shows quite a talent in this area too as demonstrated by the beautiful strawberry plants featured on the Jammies label.
And although, they are both often reminded that such talks are foolishness and such things are out of reach for mice, they believe that everything is possible in America!
Helene Laure Freixe
Studied at the Sorbonne University while working for Sonia Rykiel in France before moving to New York in the early 80’s. After graduating from FIT with a B.A.S in Fashion Design, she worked for Murjani and started her own business in 1985 under the label Laure-Freixe.
Helene was described as one of the new designers who help transform the stagnant Bridge Department by offering Designer looks, great quality and affordable prices. Her collections were sold to hundreds of top specialty boutiques throughout the U.S. and to stores such as Bendel, Bloomingdales, Bergdorf Goodman, Lord and Taylor, Saks, Macys and Galeries Lafayette U.S.A. In Women’s Wear Daily, Sydney Bachman, VP and Fashion Director at Bergdorf Goodman described her work as “very much in keeping with that of the major designers.” And according to Henri Bendel’s President, “Laure-Freixe’s best sellers were an extraordinary success”. Helene’s designs were widely featured in newspapers and fashion magazines through the country as well as the invaluable retail trade review The Tobe Report. She appeared on the ground breaking fashion TV show of the time -- Elsa Klensch.
In the late 80’s, Renown - a major Japanese Company that licenses top Europeans and U.S. designers - invested in Helene’s business. The label was changed to Helene Laure. The collection was featured in the leading trade and fashion magazines.
The Regis and Kathy Lee show picked up one of her outfits as one of the top 5 fashion ensembles to own for the season. In 1993, the crash of the Japanese economy forced Renown to curtail their American operations.
In 1994, Helene joined the international retail brand EPISODE as one of the Head Designers. Her designs were often best sellers and equally performed in Japan, US and Europe - where together with Max Mara’s designs, they ranked in the top three performers at Galeries Lafayette, France. Barbara Walters was often featured in Helene’s designs on her 20/20 show. The Episode Retail President Mark Mc Keon, wrote that: “Helene and her team strongly contributed to the growth and success Episode experienced at that time period.”
When Episode U.S.A was absorbed through a merger in 1998, Helene worked in Japan on a consulting contract. In 2000 she joined the Limited where she worked with a new group at transforming the Lane Bryant line into a younger fashionable line. Her direct responsibility was Woven Tops that represented 40% of the $895 Million division. There, she co-developed a new fit for the woven top key item that resulted in the largest sales ever for this item. Her team won the Lane Bryant Sophie Award for Best at Driving Business.

After September 11, Helene resigned to return living full time in New York. From 2001 to 2005, she worked for FINITY/Chinating, Ltd. developing multi concepts for Private Label and license acquisitions.
Since the closing of the Company in 2005, Helene has been freelancing via 24 SEVEN and Style Careers for companies such as ChinaTing-China, Liz Claiborne, Hanky Panky, Apostrophe for Sears, Vera Wang for Jones Apparel Group, Adrienne Vittadini and the CBS Television Network.
